1. Protection of Customer Data

We respect the privacy of all users of our website and online store Norvelaro (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer” or “Customers”). This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled, what types of data we collect, how we use it and what rights Customers have. We comply with applicable data protection laws.

This Privacy Policy may be updated, supplemented or amended from time to time. The version available on the website at the time of each visit applies.

If this Privacy Policy conflicts with other applicable contractual or business terms, this Privacy Policy shall take precedence with respect to the processing of personal data.

The controller responsible under applicable data protection laws is Upvera LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, the operator of norvelaro.com.

2. Data We Collect

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “personal data” means information that can be used to identify a Customer. Processing personal data includes any handling of such data, such as collecting, using, storing, disclosing, transferring or deleting it.

Norvelaro collects personal data automatically when a Customer interacts with the website or uses the online store. We also collect data automatically or manually when a Customer provides it, for example by contacting us or creating a user profile or customer account.

Data Collected Automatically

When a Customer visits the Norvelaro website, we automatically collect statistical information about which parts of the website they visit. Each time a webpage is accessed, the web server automatically stores a server log file. This may include the name of the requested file, the Customer’s IP address, the date and time of access, the browser used, the operating system, the amount of data transferred and the Customer’s internet service provider. These access data document the visit. Cookies may also be used in this context; see Section 4 below.

We evaluate this access data solely to ensure the website operates properly and to improve Norvelaro’s services.

Data Collected for Orders and Customer Enquiries

We collect personal data when Customers voluntarily provide it in connection with an order from Norvelaro or when contacting us, for example through a contact form or by email. Required fields are marked as such because the information is necessary to process the order or enquiry. Without it, the order or enquiry cannot be submitted. The relevant forms show which data is collected.

Once the contract has been fully performed, the Customer’s data will be restricted from further processing and deleted after the applicable tax and commercial record-retention periods have expired, unless the Customer has expressly consented to further use or we are otherwise permitted by law to retain or use the data.

3. Legal Basis

The legal basis for collecting and processing a Customer’s personal data depends on the purpose of the processing. It may include:

  • our legitimate interests, provided these are not overridden by the Customer’s interests, fundamental rights or freedoms; or
  • entering into or performing a contract.

4. Use of Cookies

We may use cookies to continually improve the Norvelaro website. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on a Customer’s device by their web browser, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox. They help make the website easier to use, for example by remembering language preferences or the contents of a shopping cart.

Some cookies are deleted when the browser session ends and the browser is closed (“session cookies”). Other cookies remain on the Customer’s device and allow the browser to be recognised on a later visit (“persistent cookies”). The Customer can find information about storage periods in their browser’s cookie settings.

Most web browsers accept cookies automatically. Customers can configure their browsers to reject or store no cookies. However, disabling cookies may limit the functionality of the Norvelaro website. Further information is available in the browser’s manual or help section.

5. How We Use Data

Web Analytics

Anonymised data recorded through cookies when Customers visit the Norvelaro website may be used for web analytics, website optimisation and performance measurement. We may use third-party providers for these purposes. Some providers have their own privacy policies, which are outside Norvelaro’s control.

We may use a web analytics service that stores cookies on the Customer’s device through their browser. These cookies may transmit information such as the location, time and frequency of visits to the service provider’s server for analysis.

This analysis helps us optimise the Norvelaro website.

Customers who do not agree to this processing can prevent cookies from being stored by changing their browser settings.

Social Media Content

The Norvelaro website may use social media plugins from networks such as Facebook, Instagram or X.

When a Customer visits a webpage containing one of these plugins, their browser connects directly to the relevant social network’s servers. The social network may receive information that the Customer has visited the webpage. If the Customer is logged into their social network account, the network may associate the visit with that account.

These social media platforms have their own privacy policies, which are outside Norvelaro’s control.

Customers who do not want these plugins to load can log out of the relevant social networks. Some browsers can also be configured or supplemented with add-ons to block social media plugins.

6. Newsletter

If a Customer wishes to receive a newsletter offered by Norvelaro, we require their email address and other information that allows us to verify that they own the email address and consent to receiving the newsletter. We use a “double opt-in” process for this purpose.

The Norvelaro newsletter provides Customers with regular recommendations and offers that may be of interest to them.

We process the personal data entered in the newsletter registration form on the basis of the Customer’s consent. This consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect.

We retain personal data provided for newsletter subscriptions until the Customer unsubscribes from the Norvelaro newsletter.

7. Sharing Your Data

We do not disclose Customers’ personal data to third parties unless the Customer has consented to the disclosure, or we are legally, administratively or judicially required to do so.

We require these third parties to maintain an appropriate level of security and data protection.

8. Data Security

Unfortunately, transmitting data over the internet is not completely secure. Norvelaro works with service providers and internet providers that implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect Customers’ personal data.

9. Right to Withdraw Consent

Customers may contact us at any time—for example, by emailing info@novelaro.com—to tell us that they do not want their personal data to be used for future contact. Customers may also withdraw their participation in special services offered on the Norvelaro website, such as the newsletter, at any time.

10. Contact

If a Customer has questions about this Privacy Policy or data protection, they can contact us at:

Email: info@novelaro.com

11. Final Provisions

If any provision or part of this Privacy Policy is found to be void or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

The place of jurisdiction and applicable law are governed by Norvelaro’s Terms and Conditions.
